GALS ABROAD GETAWAYS terms & CONDITIONS
Making a deposit for a trip with Alle Pierce Travel LLC DBA Gals Abroad Getaways (“Gals Abroad Getaways”) signifies the traveler’s agreement to these terms and conditions.
COVID DISCLAIMER
COVID-19 had been declared a global pandemic, and traveling may increase the risk of contracting the virus. Due to COVID-19, some destinations may be closed or may have specific entry requirements (included, but not limited to, proof of a Negative COVID- 19 test within a certain number of days before arrival date, extensive screenings upon arrival or quarantines). By signing this document, you acknowledge that you are aware of these possibilities and take responsibility for being aware of them and adhering to them.
PRICING
Price quotes for any non-air travel components are not confirmed until deposit is paid.
Price quotes for airfare, or for packages that include airfare, are not confirmed until booked with full names and payment (for air) in full. All prices are subject to airline change without notice and are subject to availability. Most airline tickets are non-refundable, nonchangeable and non-transferable. If traveler is unable to travel and has not purchased travel insurance that covers traveler’s cancellation, traveler may have a credit with the airline to use, less their cancellation fee.
Unless otherwise noted, quotes may not include airfare, gratuities, meals, resort fees, city taxes, incidental items, airport transfers, rental car fees, travel insurance, airline luggage fees, airline seat assignment fees, visas, or other country entrance fees.
Payment schedules are set forth by travel suppliers and are due on the dates specified. Failure to pay on time may result in automatic cancellation by the supplier and will result in forfeiture of prior payments.
Revision, cancellation and refund policies vary by individual supplier. Supplier cancellation fees can be up to 100% of the total trip cost and no-shows are non-refundable. Refund restrictions and policies for unused travel and vacation components vary and are subject to rules of individual suppliers. Insurance premiums, airfare and some supplier fees are non-refundable. Please ask about specific supplier policies before making a deposit.
OVERBOOKING
Flights, tours and cruises may be overbooked. A person denied boarding may be entitled to a compensatory payment from the supplier. The rules for denied airplane boarding are available to all airline ticket counters.
AIRFARE AND AIRLINE POLICIES
Gals Abroad Getaways may reserve flights for traveler either as part of a travel package or separate from a package. Gals Abroad Getaways will send the traveler an email with the reserved flights showing the traveler’s name and, if possible, a screenshot of the TSA information on the reservation (names and birthdays). It is the sole responsibility of the traveler to review the dates, airports, names and birthdays for accuracy. Once the traveler approves the itinerary, Gals Abroad Getaways will apply payment and issue tickets. Once tickets are issued, traveler has 24 hours for the ticket to be changed or voided without penalty. After 24 hours, Gals Abroad Getaways assume no responsibility for any fees that may be associated with making changes to tickets that have been approved by traveler.
When purchasing air, traveler is under the jurisdiction of the airline’s policies and procedures. Most airlines charge fees for luggage and for seat selections. Gals Abroad Getaways are not responsible or liable for any flight schedule changes, delays, or cancellations. Although, Gals Abroad Getaways may assist in seat selection and the purchase of seat assignments, Gals Abroad Getaways are not responsible or liable if the airline makes a change in aircraft that causes pre-selected or pre- purchased seats to be reassigned. Seat assignments are subject to change by the airline without notice.
Travelers are responsible for confirming their flights with the airline within 24 hours of departure to ensure there have been no changes. Failure to use any portion of an airline ticket may result in automatic cancellation by the airline of all continued and return flights. Travelers should verify the airline’s confirmation policies, luggage fees and other requirements prior to booking.
CRUISING
If traveler is cruising, we strongly recommend arriving at port of departure at least one day before traveler’s cruise is scheduled to depart. Failure to arrive at port of departure at least one day in advance of sailing could result in traveler missing the ship’s departure from port. If traveler opts to arrive on the day a cruise is scheduled to depart, traveler is responsible for their own arrangements if the traveler must meet the ship later, or if traveler misses the cruise entirely. Gals Abroad Getaways are not responsible for any monetary losses that may result.
Gals Abroad Getaways strongly encourage using a passport when cruising. Cruise lines with closed-loop cruises may permit travelers to sail using a birth certificate and photo ID. However, should traveler be forced to leave the ship in a foreign port for a medical or other emergency, a valid passport will be required by that country for airline travel. For this reason, Gals Abroad Getaways recommend traveling under a valid passport.
TRAVEL DOCUMENTS
Gals Abroad Getaways will provide traveler with all documents and vouchers needed for travel. Travelers must check their travel documents within 24 hours of receipt and notify Gals Abroad Getaways immediately if any errors are found. Gals Abroad Getaways assume no responsibility for any change fees by a supplier if a passenger does not notify us of an error within 24 hours of documents being received. Tickets and vouchers must always be kept in a safe place. Lost, stolen, or misplaced tickets or vouchers may not be replaceable or refundable, or there may be fees associated with replacement. Gals Abroad Getaways are not responsible for any monetary loss as a result. When traveling, safeguard all vouchers and documents in a safe.
It is your responsibility to obtain information and to have in your possession all the required documentation and identification required for entry, departure, and travel to each country or region. This includes a valid passport and all travel documents required by the relevant governmental authorities including all visas, permits, and certificates (including but not limited to vaccination or medical certificates) and insurance policies. You must have a passport that is valid 6 months after the last date of travel with Gals Abroad Getaways as set out on your itinerary. You accept full responsibility for obtaining all such documents, visas, and permits prior to the start of the tour, and you are solely responsible for the full amount of costs incurred as a result of missing or defective documentation.
TRAVEL PROTECTION
Proof of travel insurance is required before participating in any Gals Abroad Getaways, covering all applicable dates of travel. We do not accept credit card insurance as proof of travel insurance for our tours. Travel insurance should cover personal injury, emergency medical expenses, medical evacuation coverage, trip cancellation and interruption, as well as baggage loss. You are strongly recommended to consider coverage that includes cancellation for any reason. You acknowledge that insurance coverage is not included in the cost of any trip offered by Gals Abroad Getaways and you are required to obtain separate coverage at an additional cost.
If you purchase your travel insurance independent of the recommended Gals Abroad Getaways insurance policy, you will be required to provide a copy of that policy to Gals Abroad Getaways at admin@galsabroadgetaways.com
CANCELLATIONS BY YOU
All Gals Abroad Getaways tour payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. As a result, Gals Abroad Getaways requires that you purchase travel insurance for coverage in the event of a medical or family emergency, or for any other basis that you deem necessary.
No tour credits, date changes, or refunds will be provided in the event you decide to cancel your tour/booking, do not arrive at your scheduled tour on the anticipated start date, or in the event you arrive late to any tour.
Similarly, no refunds will be given for unused hotel rooms, meals, or activities for any reason whatsoever. Tours are quoted as a package and refunds and credits are not given for services not used.
REQUIRED IDENTIFICATION
A valid government-issued photo ID is required for every traveler. The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) requires travelers to carry government-issued identification to board a flight. The name, date of birth, and gender that appear on the identification must match the same data that is listed on the traveler’s airline ticket. Failure to strictly comply with these requirements may result in denied boarding or an undue delay at an airport security checkpoint, causing travelers to miss their flight. Identification Required for International Travel:
All international passengers regardless of age must present a government-issued, non-expired, U.S. passport upon flight check-in and for U.S. customs re-entry.
Validate that your passport expiration date is acceptable for entry into the country you’re traveling to. Some countries require the expiration date extend six months beyond the traveler’s return date.
Travelers with passports that are found to be washed, mutilated, or damaged may be refused entry.
U.S. citizens should be aware that countries can deny foreigners entry if they have been charged or convicted of a serious crime. For more information on entry requirements review the information on www.travel.state.gov or contact the consulate for the destinations you’re traveling to.
Children under the age of 18 traveling with only one parent or someone who is not a parent or legal guardian should travel with a notarized letter of consent. For more details, please visit U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
It is the traveler's responsibility to provide the correct documents, and failure to do so may result in being denied boarding for the flight. Gals Abroad Getaways is not responsible for any monetary loss as a result.

DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY
Gals Abroad Getaways (Consultant) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car Rental Company, tour operator, cruise line or other service provider named in traveler itinerary (suppliers). Gals Abroad Getaways are not responsible for acts or omissions of the suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules. Gals Abroad Getaways is not liable for acts, errors, omissions, representations, warranties, breaches or negligence of any supplier, or personal injuries, death, property damage or other damages or expenses resulting from causes outside the control of Gals Abroad Getaways.
Gals Abroad Getaways assumes no responsibility for, and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience or irregularity which may be caused by (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts or omissions of suppliers; (2) any defect or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment or instrumentality owner, operated or otherwise provided by the suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under the control of Gals Abroad Getaways. Traveler hereby releases Gals Abroad Getaways from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.
With traveling comes the inherent risk of illness including but not limited to motion or seasickness, eating food or drink that may cause health issues, and exposure to foreign environments. Gals Abroad Getaways will assist a traveler with finding proper medical treatment but is in no way liable for any illness and resulting heath bills and/or missed itinerary plans, obtained by traveler during any Gals Abroad Getaways Tour. Traveler hereby releases Gals Abroad Getaways from all claims arising out of any illness caught by a Traveler while participating on a Gals Abroad Getaways Tour, regardless of when the symptoms occur.
Gals Abroad Getaways have no special knowledge regarding the financial conditions of the suppliers, unsafe conditions, health or weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which traveler may travel. Because each traveler’s risk tolerance is different, Gals Abroad Getaways are not able to advise travelers whether or not to travel to a particular place at a particular time. Gals Abroad Getaways will assist traveler to make an informed decision based on objective third party sources of travel information. Gals Abroad Getaways recommend contacting the Travel Warnings Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information, Gals Abroad Getaways recommend contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. Traveler assumes full responsibility for checking and verifying all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of traveler destination(s) and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s), and thereby release Gals Abroad Getaways from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. Traveler agrees that the courts of St. Charles IL will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by traveler or Gals Abroad Getaways, and traveler hereby submits to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.
