Here’s how it works:

Once you have your travel details head over to Trvlporter.com and enter your information. Their team of stylists will hand pick items based on your style and trip details and send you options 7-10 days before your trip. Trvl Porter then has those items sent to your hotel/Airbnb/wherever you’re staying.When you check-out you leave the items in the prepaid shipping envelope with the front desk or drop at a USPS location.

The concept behind the service is to eliminate your big luggage or just simply to travel lighter. Now to be honest, there’s no way I’m ever going to eliminate my big luggage. So I looked at this as a way to have more clothes to choose from without giving up precious space in my already overweight suitcase. Is this service international?

Sadly not at this point, but they’re hoping to be in the future.

How much does it cost?

It’s $130 for 2 items. You can always rent more than 2 items if needed. They take care of the shipping costs.

What kind of brands do they work with?

Trvl Porter works with more than 100 different brands in the United States. Here’s a few of the brands you can choose from: Diane Von Furstenberg, Paige Denim, Lovers and Friends, Halston Heritage, Milly, Rebecca Minkoff, Vince, Tory Burch, Elizabeth and James, Derek Lam 10 Crosby, Parker, Fame and Partners, etc.

Can you ask for specific things?

TOTALLY! When you fill out your travel details you can explain what you need the clothes for, if it’s casual or fancy, if there’s specific items you want (tops, pants, dress, etc). There’s also a description box so you can get as specific as you want.
